If I’m being completely honest, I don’t really know what I’m doing here — at least not in the “professional blogger” sense. I don’t know much about blog formats. I don’t know the exact formula that makes people click or share or care. But I do know this: I think. A lot.
And that’s how this whole thing started.
Most people, when they’re trying to earn extra income, are told to invest in stocks or pick up a part-time job. That’s logical. That’s safe. But if I’m going to build something that generates income, I want it to be something I’m good at. And the one thing I know I’m good at is thinking through ideas — deeply, creatively, sometimes obsessively.
I know what you might be thinking: “Everybody thinks.” True. But I’m not talking about just thoughts — I’m talking about the kind of internal dialogue that fills notebooks, texts to friends, voice notes to myself, and now… conversations with ChatGPT.
If someone were to read through the chats I’ve had with AI alone, they’d see a woman sorting through business ideas, school improvement plans, self-publishing dreams, money strategies, spiritual insights, and real talk about life. And all of that came from me thinking out loud into my computer screen.
Oh yeah — I forgot to mention, I teach English and writing. So technically, I’ve been in the business of storytelling and structured thought for years. But this blog? This is different. This space is not just about teaching others — it’s about revealing my process.
I started this blog to reach people like me.
People who think deeply. People with ideas they haven’t executed yet. People trying to make sense of ambition, calling, and creativity — all while paying the bills and staying sane.
This isn’t a blog with all the answers. It’s a blog full of thoughts. Raw ones. Unfinished ones. Maybe some brilliant ones. My hope is that something I share here helps someone — or at the very least, gives you permission to think your way into your next move too.
So if you’re down to ride, welcome.
Let’s think through it together.
— Sam
